Mission
To drive and support the safest and highest quality of pediatric periprocedural care through
- Continuous clinical care improvement by learning from our adverse events as well as our successes and by engaging with member institutions and using collaborative learning approaches to develop strategies to end preventable harm
- Leveraging our data by maintaining a registry for adverse events and demographic data and using novel and innovative methods to use the data for safety and improvement work
- Education of member institution on improvement science and safety through conference calls, workshops, seminars, mentorship opportunities, site visits, policy statements, newsletters, podcasts and publications
- Advocacy for Qi and safety through collaboration and partnerships with pediatric learning entities such as SPA, APSF, ACS, SPS nationally and ESPA, SPANZA, IAPA internationally
